Field Applications Manager - Wireless & Embedded Systems
Location: Remote/Field Based – Midlands & South UK

Are you an experienced electronics engineer who enjoys working directly with customers? Do you thrive on solving technical challenges, influencing design decisions and helping innovative products reach the market?
We are looking for a Field Applications Manager to join our growing technical team, supporting customers across the Midlands and South of England. Working with leading semiconductor manufacturers and cutting-edge technologies, you will provide expert technical support while developing long-term customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine your engineering expertise with commercial awareness in a role where you'll genuinely influence customer success and business growth.
What you will be doing
- Supporting customers from initial concept through to production.
- Providing pre- and post-sales technical support across wireless, embedded and semiconductor technologies.
- Working closely with customer engineering teams to recommend the right technical solutions.
- Identifying and developing new design-win opportunities.
- Building and maintaining a healthy project pipeline.
- Delivering technical presentations, demonstrations and customer workshops.
- Collaborating with Sales, Product Management and leading global semiconductor partners.
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and market developments.

What we are looking for
You will have a background in electronics or embedded engineering together with excellent customer-facing skills.
You will ideally have experience with:
- Wireless technologies including Cellular (LTE, NB-IoT, LTE-M), BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa/LoRaWAN and GNSS.
- System on Module (SoM) platforms.
- Embedded Linux or RTOS environments.
- ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V or similar microcontroller architectures.
- Embedded hardware and firmware development.
- Technical customer support or Field Applications Engineering.
- Business development and identifying new commercial opportunities.

Previous experience delivering customer demonstrations, technical presentations or training would be advantageous, as would an established network within the UK electronics design community.

Location: Remote/Field Based – Field-based role supporting customers across the Midlands and South of England. Candidates can be based anywhere within this region. Frequent customer travel is expected.
