Solsta is looking for a Field Applications Manager combining an electronics engineering background with proven technical sales experience. Working with innovative customers and leading semiconductor suppliers, you will use your technical knowledge and commercial experience to develop relationships, identify new opportunities, and secure design wins across wireless, embedded, and semiconductor technologies. You will support customers from initial concept and product selection through evaluation and into production, while developing a strong pipeline across your territory.
What you will be doing
- Develop existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of technical sales and design wins.
- Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support customers throughout the design lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with engineering and commercial teams.
- Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Applications, and supplier partners.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and customer workshops.
- Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline information.

What we are looking for
- Proven technical sales or business development experience within electronics, semiconductors, wireless, or embedded technologies.
- Electronics engineering background or equivalent technical industry experience.
- Knowledge of wireless technologies such as Cellular/LTE, BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa/LoRaWAN, or GNSS.
- Experience with embedded systems, SoM platforms, ARM, and/or embedded Linux/RTOS.
- A track record of developing customer relationships and commercial opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and commercial skills.
- Ability to work autonomously across a field-based territory.
