Join Our Innovative Team – Customer Training & Applications Specialist (CyTOF® Mass Cytometry)

We are seeking a Customer Training & Applications Specialist to deliver remote, on-site technical training, applications support, and sales assistance—capitalizing on the groundbreaking CyTOF® Mass Cytometry platforms.

Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site customer training (live demonstrations, troubleshooting, and hands-on sessions)
- Deliver phone, email, and in-person applications support—troubleshooting challenges in:
- User technical skills
- Instrument operation and maintenance
- Experimental design
- Data analysis (especially in mass cytometry)
- Collaboratively create and oversee technical content: manuals, application notes, and training presentations
- Enhance product adoption and customer satisfaction by:
- Conducting technical seminars and CyTOF® demos
- Coordinating proof-of-principle experiments with potential customers (for grant proposals or purchase evaluations)
- Work closely with beta test sites to evaluate new products
- Provide actionable feedback to our R&D teams for improving tool responsiveness
- Document support cases in our enterprise knowledge base and escalate issues appropriately
- Report project updates, challenges, and advancements to management and team members

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- A master’s degree in life sciences (biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, etc.)
- Ph.D. with a strong immunology background is a strong plus
- 3-5 years’ hands-on lab experience in Biochemistry/CBU/immunology/powerful biotechnology edge
- Field applications support experience in a commercialization or life sciences context (desired)
- Deep technical expertise in:
- Software/software troubleshooting
- Flow cytometry or mass cytometry (CyTOF in particular)
- Experimental design and data analysis
- High-level bioinformatics skills highly desirable
- Microsoft Office proficiency, excellent organization, and technical writing ability
Logistics & Culture Fit
- Readiness to travel 60%+ in the EMEA region, targeting an assigned commercial territory but expanding as needed
- Strong scientific communication skills (ability to deliver complex but engaging presentations)
- Unwavering commitment to customer service
- Independent problem-solving mindset with adaptability
- Self-motivated with collaborative spirit to foster learning and feedback among peers
