Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our growing organisation and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and care team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious professional who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and ensuring care professionals are competent, well-supported, and continuously developing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a dedicated team of care professionals, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment where excellence is celebrated
- Conduct regular supervision sessions with team members, identifying development opportunities and supporting professional growth through structured support
- Deliver competency assessments to evaluate care professionals' skills and knowledge, ensuring they meet required standards for person-centred care delivery
- Provide on-site support visits and training to care professionals, demonstrating best practice and enhancing their capability to deliver high-quality care
- Ensure clients have updated, person-centred care plans that reflect their needs, preferences, and goals
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes across all field operations, monitoring care standards and identifying areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, care standards, and regulatory requirements across all field operations
- Respond to and resolve care-related concerns with empathy and professionalism, maintaining open communication with clients, families, and the wider team
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by gathering feedback, identifying best practices, and implementing positive changes
- Contribute to staff wellbeing initiatives, recognising the emotional demands of care work and supporting team resilience
- Liaise with management, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service provision and organisational alignment

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory, leadership, or senior care professional role within health and social care, or equivalent demonstrable experience in a team-leading capacity
- Experience delivering or receiving supervision, coaching, and mentoring to care professionals
- Demonstrated knowledge of person-centred care principles and their application in practice
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, care standards, and regulatory requirements (CQC, Health and Social Care Act)
- Experience with or exposure to competency assessments and identifying training needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse teams
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently in field settings, and maintain detailed records

Desirable Qualifications:
- Level 3 or above qualification in Health and Social Care or related discipline
- Supervisory or management qualification (e.g. Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management)
- Experience with care management systems and electronic record-keeping
- Knowledge of staff wellbeing and resilience-building practices
