The Role – Field Care Supervisor (Hertford)

As part of our care management team, you will work closely with the Care Performance Manager to ensure care services are safe, high-quality, and tailored to each individual homeowner.

You will supervise care staff across multiple retirement developments and support the delivery of person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Care & Support Assistants across our Hertfordshire developments
  • Conduct staff supervisions, competency assessments, and spot checks
  • Support the Care Performance Manager with service delivery and team management
  • Carry out Homeowner reviews and care plan updates
  • Ensure care services meet quality, compliance, and safeguarding standards
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to maintain effective communication and service delivery
  • Assist with administration and reporting to support care management
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone passionate about community care and supporting independent living for older people.

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years’ UK experience in care (We do not offer sponsorship)
  • Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)

Desirable

  • Willingness to work towards Level 3 Health & Social Care
  • Experience supervising or mentoring care staff
  • Knowledge of UK domiciliary or community care services

Skills

  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisation and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to work remotely or from development offices
