About the Company

The Field CTO is a senior executive-level adviser who helps customers realise business transformation through technology, data, AI, people and process change. Acting as a strategic partner to C-suite executives, bridges business strategy and technology execution — aligning operating models, data strategy, AI adoption, security and cloud platforms to accelerate value realisation. The role combines business consulting, transformation leadership, industry expertise and technology knowledge, plus ecosystem orchestration and transformational sales experience.

About the Role

Track record leading, or contributing to a senior leadership team on, complex enterprise business transformation programmes. Confident engaging C-suite executives, business leaders, technology leaders and delivery stakeholders. Able to bridge strategic business priorities with technology, data, AI, operating model and organisational change. Credible in one or more industry sectors, with commercial judgement to shape value propositions, business cases and roadmaps. Collaborative and influential, able to orchestrate multidisciplinary teams and partner ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Business Transformation Leadership — Lead enterprise transformation aligned to strategic priorities; define future-state operating models and translate objectives into measurable programmes.
  • Executive Advisory & Strategic Consulting — Act as trusted adviser to CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CFOs, COOs and boards; provide independent guidance on technology and transformation decisions.
  • Bridging Business & Technology — Translate business strategy into technology-enabled plans spanning architecture, data, AI, cloud and security.
  • AI & Digital Transformation — Lead AI transformation from strategy through implementation, defining operating models, governance and high-value use cases.
  • Industry & Enterprise Strategy — Bring sector expertise and thought leadership on industry trends, competitive dynamics, business models and disruption.
  • Architecture, Execution & Value Realisation — Provide strategic oversight across AI, data, cloud, security and platforms; drive execution through governance, measurable outcomes and adoption.
  • Presales & Ecosystem Orchestration — Lead complex strategic sales engagements; build business cases and value propositions; orchestrate partner and vendor ecosystems.
  • Programme Leadership — Draw on proven multi-workstream transformation experience; lead multidisciplinary teams and set direction for Architects and Solution Specialists.
