Onsite/Hybrid - 2 days in London
World Wide Technology (WWT) is a global technology solutions provider with over US$20 billion in annual revenue, 14,000+ employees, and operations across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. WWT combines strategy, execution, and partnership to help the world’s largest organisations adopt transformative technology, from cloud, networking and security to AI and advanced infrastructure.
As Field CTO, you operate at the frontier of client engagement, advising C-suite executives on infrastructure strategy, driving demand for WWT’s capabilities, and ensuring WWT is the indispensable partner for every major infrastructure investment in EMEA.
You bring credibility across the full infrastructure stack, from applications and platforms down through networking, data centre, and AI infrastructure, combined with commercial instinct and boardroom presence. Critically, you understand how applications and workloads shape infrastructure requirements and can translate business outcomes into architectural decisions.
What You’ll Do
Client Advisory & Demand Generation
- Provide C-suite advisory on infrastructure strategy: data centre investment, network architecture, cloud and hybrid connectivity, and AI-ready platform design
- Shape demand for WWT’s Advanced Infrastructure practice through executive relationships, speaking engagements, and thought leadership
- Bridge the gap between application requirements and infrastructure delivery, helping clients understand what their workloads demand from the underlying platform
- Guide clients through build-vs-buy decisions spanning data centre, networking, cloud, and managed services
Technical Leadership
- Advise on the evolving technology landscape: data centre modernisation, software-defined networking (SDN/SD-WAN), cloud native platforms, AI/ML infrastructure, and hybrid multi cloud architectures
- Develop and present WWT’s infrastructure point of view at industry events, executive briefings, and partner forums
- Articulate how emerging technologies, including AI infrastructure, private cloud, and edge compute, integrate with existing application estates and business processes
- Support pre sales pursuits and strategic account plans, positioning WWT’s full breadth of infrastructure and services capability

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
