Company Overview

Focal Systems is the industry leader in retail AI solutions. Our mission is to automate and optimise brick-and-mortar retail using deep-learning computer vision. Focal has been deployed at scale with the top retailers in the world. We are looking for smart, creative, and passionate people who love to learn, enjoy thinking critically, share our values, and want to build a great and enduring company.

We have built the next-generation operating system for brick & mortar retail. This OS leverages shelf-mounted cameras that constantly measure the state of the retailers’ shelves and use that information to order quicker and smarter, planogram better, and schedule, direct, train, and manage their staff. We have proven this with major retailers around the world.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Field Data Collector to support our operations throughout London and the South on a fixed-term basis. This role is responsible for visiting sites to accurately capture, record, and report data in line with company standards and timelines. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the ideal candidate is organised, comfortable working independently in the field, and confident using mobile devices or apps to log information accurately.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
