Location: North West & North Wales

Employment type: Full time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities available

About The Role

The Field Manager is responsible for the Planning & Field delivery of SPEN & ENWL Projects as well working closely with the Project management team for strategic planning. As a Field Manager you will act as the workplace representative and feed ideas, concerns and initiatives into the management team to review, with the aim of improving day-to-day business activities for management/ staff relations. It is the field managers overall responsibility to ensure works get delivered Safely, On Time, and On Budget.

Individual must be customer focused ensuring safety, financial and operational targets are met or exceeded, maintaining exceptional service levels across all the projects they are responsible for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated, with remedies implemented.
  • Survey and assist in the quotations for projects based on a contract schedule of rates.
  • Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate.
  • Work closely with the support team to ensure delivery programmes are in place and progress is monitored.
  • Operate in full compliance with Ipsum Power and Client ENWL/SPEN policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Be proactive in promoting continuous improvement and innovation in our working methodology.
  • Always establish good relationships with key stakeholders. Communicate and resolve issues with early resolution of any potential problems.
  • Carry out site safety audits.
  • Attend site progress meetings.
  • Price checking best price on materials and plant.
  • Scheduling correct resources to works on Ipsum Live Jobs ensuring teams also have required safety documentation on site.

About You….

  • Proven experience in Site Supervision
  • SMSTS/ CCNSG Supervisor (Desirable)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of measuring work achievement and providing reliable information for applications for payment to commercial staff.
  • Professional, customer focused with a good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning.
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting data.
  • Evidence of implementing successful improvement measures.
  • Knowledge of KPI measurements to a high level to ensure compliance with targets.
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office package.
