Role Description

The Field Engineer role at Luminor3 is a full-time, on-site position based in Bristol. This role involves providing technical support and field service to customers, including installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network solutions. The Field Engineer will perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure reliable system performance. Responsibilities include collaborating with project teams on deployments, documenting work performed, and communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role also requires adherence to company standards and best practices while supporting the delivery of secure, AI-enabled and cloud-based solutions to partners and their customers.

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues on-site.
  • Experience in field service operations, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and customer-facing technical work.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Project management capabilities to support planning, coordination, and execution of deployments and upgrades.
  • Familiarity with cloud, networking, or AI-enabled solutions is beneficial.
  • Relevant technical certification or degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently on-site in Bristol, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and security best practices in all field activities.
