Field Service Engineer (On-Vehicle) - CCTV | Auto Electrical | Telematics

📍 Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland (Field-Based)

💰 Up to £37,000 / €39,400 + Overtime + Call Outs + Company Vehicle

🕒 Full-Time | Regional Travel

The Opportunity

GTS are working with a leading security systems integrator delivering advanced technology solutions across transport, infrastructure, and high-security environments. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of on-vehicle systems across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers who enjoy hands-on work, autonomy, and working with modern vehicle technology.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for working on vehicle-based CCTV, telematics, and electrical systems across a regional patch.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Installation of vehicle CCTV & driver assistance systems
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on vehicle electrical systems
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
  • On-site support for fleet and transport customers
  • Completing job reports and liaising with internal teams

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally come from one of the following backgrounds:

  • Auto Electrician / Vehicle Electrics
  • CCTV or Security Systems Engineer
  • Telematics / Fleet Technology Engineer
  • Electrical or Electronic Engineering

You’ll also need:

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role
  • Flexibility for night work and travel across Ireland
