About the client
Our client is a confidential major submarine cable systems provider, delivering high-voltage cable systems and offshore installation, repair and maintenance for the energy transition (offshore wind, interconnectors and power transmission). Established engineering, offshore and QHSE teams support the full campaign from survey and engineering through to offshore execution.

The assignment provides offshore operational support during a submarine cable repair campaign in the Baltic Sea. Working back-to-back with the client's engineering, the Field Engineer helps maintain continuity and execution excellence throughout the offshore campaign, supporting the interface between vessel operations and engineering. Offshore, for weeks 34 to 38 (2026), with an urgent mobilisation.
Role overview
To provide offshore field engineering support to a submarine cable repair campaign, maintaining continuity and execution excellence between vessel operations and engineering.
Reporting line: You will work back-to-back with the client's engineering team and the offshore operations, on the repair vessel and campaign.

Requirements
Must-have:
- Offshore field / operations engineering on subsea cable or subsea / offshore construction projects
- Able to work back-to-back offshore and maintain execution continuity
- Strong offshore HSE and execution focus
Nice-to-have:
- Submarine cable repair or installation experience; Baltic / North Sea experience
Certifications
Valid offshore certifications for offshore mobilisation
