We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Multi-Skilled Property Maintenance Operative to join our growing property maintenance business.

This is a varied role involving the delivery of both responsive repairs and planned maintenance programmes across a diverse portfolio of domestic and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess strong core trade expertise, supported by a broad range of complementary skills, for example, plumbing, carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, roofing, landscaping, and general building maintenance.
  • Diagnose defects, identify cost-effective repair solutions, and deliver work to a consistently high standard whilst ensuring compliance with current industry regulations and best practices.
  • Take ownership of projects, execute the work ensuring quality assurance.
  • Have strong organizational skills and commercial awareness.
  • Working with minimal supervision, be responsible for maintaining accurate job records, communicating professionally with clients, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
  • Collaborate with colleagues where required to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • A significant part of this role involves travelling to client sites across the UK. You must be willing to travel extensively and regularly work away from home, including overnight stays when projects require. Flexibility is essential, as workloads and project locations vary, and successful applicants should be comfortable spending extended periods working at sites outside of their local area.
  • Be someone who takes pride in their workmanship, demonstrates excellent problem-solving abilities, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. A professional and approachable manner is essential.

What we offer:

Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience within the property maintenance sector
  • Proven ability to manage maintenance and refurbishment projects independently
  • Strong multi-trade skill set across domestic and commercial environments
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must live in or around the Reading area
