Role Description
We’re looking for a talented and customer-focused Field Engineer to join Advania UK, delivering on-site IT support to a dedicated client across multiple locations.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll support incidents, service requests, hardware replacements, installations, and planned engineering tasks. A full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel across a large rural area are essential.

Salary and Benefits
The budgeted salary for this role is £40,000 plus benefits which can be viewed here.
This role also attracts a car allowance of £450 per month plus mileage.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for incidents, requests, and hardware replacements.
- Take ownership of tickets and tasks through to resolution within agreed SLAs.
- Support installations, moves, changes, and project-related activities.
- Maintain accurate ticket updates, documentation, and asset records.
- Carry out planned site visits and assist with network infrastructure where required.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, stakeholders, and third parties.
- Ensure accurate time logging and follow escalation and Health & Safety processes.

Experience/Qualifications
- Experience in an IT support or field engineering role.
- A full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel to remote client sites.
- Experience with some or all of the following:
- Microsoft Intune and Azure
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Desktop hardware and operating systems
- Print solutions, peripherals, and access points
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with laptop builds, mobile setup, and hardware replacement.
- A practical, hands-on approach and a strong focus on customer service.
Regular drug and alcohol testing will be required as part of this role.
Enhanced DBS checks may be required and will be sponsored by Advania UK where applicable.
