Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

We’re looking for a Field Engineer (Radio)

To join our Network Services team, supporting a range of contracts that require radio systems knowledge. You’ll respond to job tasks within agreed service levels, carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and support radio equipment (multi-tone) across multiple client sites and regions.

The role covers the South East of England region - areas include Southampton to Norfolk, London, the Inner M25, Kent and the Isle of Wight, with occasional support required in other regions such as Lincolnshire and Peterborough. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with participation in a 1-in-4 week on-call rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and resolve faults on radio equipment, including radio interface equipment, PMR systems, Multitone digital systems, analogue systems, and voice and data systems.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across installed radio systems, with occasional installation tasks supported by installation guides, training and procedural documents.
  • Support national project teams with installation, commissioning and upgrades to new or existing equipment.
  • Work independently and as part of a team on cellular radio, Wi-Fi, PMR and network systems across buildings, street-level locations, third-party sites and remote sites.
  • Liaise with customers, equipment users, the wider team and the Service Centre to ensure jobs are managed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Complete quality checks, site documentation, risk assessments, administration and compliance activities accurately and on time.
  • Take part in a rotational on-call rota and remain flexible with travel, extra hours, overnight work and weekend work when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
