Field Service Technician | Transport Infrastructure | London

Do you want a hands-on engineering role where your work keeps a major transport network running, and where people stay because the job is well run? This is a field-based role supporting critical transport infrastructure across London and the surrounding areas. You will work on electromechanical systems in a regulated rail environment with strong planning and structure behind your work.

What's in it for you?

  • Long-term stability in essential infrastructure, with consistent work in a sector that does not slow down.
  • A team with real longevity, where many vacancies come from retirement and internal promotion rather than turnover.
  • Home-start working with a fully equipped vehicle, so less commuting and more control over your time.
  • A clear path into senior technician or team leader roles.
  • A company vehicle, tools, PPE, fuel and insurance provided, plus private healthcare and a pension.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
