Why should you care?

You'd be the insight brain behind the field sales operation of one of the most recognisable drinks brands on the planet. Market leader in their category, sold in the billions every year and famous for being as good at marketing and culture as they are at shifting product.

This is for the Impulse channel — getting product into the fridges, the tills and the hands of the people who buy it, everywhere from corner shops to forecourts. It's one of the most competitive, fastest-moving parts of the business and the field team behind it is huge. Your job is to make sense of all of it and point the business at what to do next. High exposure to the leadership team, real ownership, and the kind of role where your work actually changes decisions.

What you'd actually be doing

  • Digging into channel performance and finding the story in the numbers — then telling that story so people get it and act on it
  • Owning targets, KPIs and forecasts for the field teams, and course-correcting when the numbers move
  • Building the dashboards and visualisation tools that turn a data mess into "here's the plan"
  • Leading the monthly performance review and coaching National Sales Managers on how to read what they're seeing
  • Keeping the data honest — territories, coverage, attribution — so everything built on top of it holds up
  • Looking after a placement intern

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who we're after

First, the mindset

Because that's what actually matters here:

  • You get a genuine kick out of spotting the insight everyone else missed — the pattern in the numbers nobody clocked
  • You're the kind of person who's a bit of a perfectionist on detail, in the good way. Messy data bothers you. You fix it before it becomes a problem
  • You can juggle five priorities without dropping any of them, and you know which one matters most
  • You're comfortable influencing people well above your pay grade — not waiting to be asked, but telling senior people what the data says and why they should act on it

Now the skills that back it up

  • You can work with data from all over the place. Internal systems, external sources, agency feeds — you can pull it together, make it talk to each other, and trust what comes out
  • You turn data into insight, and insight into action. Anyone can build a chart. You can look at it and say "here's what we do about it" — and get people to actually do it
  • You can hold a room. Standing in front of National Sales Managers or the leadership team and making complex numbers land simply — that's a core part of the job, not a nice-to-have. Confident, clear, no waffle
  • You're brilliant at storytelling with data. Visualisation, dashboards, the lot — turning a spreadsheet into something a person can look at and instantly get
  • You've done this before. Strong experience in an insight role — agency, retailer or manufacturer, doesn't matter which. What matters is you've genuinely owned data and turned it into decisions

On experience: we value it, we don't worship it. No degree needed. If you've got the instinct for this and can prove you can turn numbers into action, the exact years on your CV matter less than what you've done with them.
