Seren Technologies is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Field Installation Engineer based in or around Hereford to join our expanding engineering team.
We specialise in connectivity and technology installations for residential and commercial customers across Wales and the surrounding regions, including rural and hard-to-reach locations.
What you’ll be working on
You’ll carry out installations including:
- Starlink satellite broadband systems
- Wi-Fi and wireless networking systems
- CCTV systems
- Structured network cabling
- Routers, switches and access points
- Business connectivity solutions
- Fault finding, maintenance and customer support
You’ll work independently in the field while being supported by our wider engineering team.

What we’re looking for
We’re particularly interested in people with experience in one or more of the following:
- Telecommunications
- Broadband or satellite installations
- Wi-Fi/network installations
- CCTV
- Structured cabling
- Fibre or data cabling
- Field engineering
You don’t need experience across every area — we’re looking for someone technically capable, reliable and willing to learn.
You must:
- Live in or around the Hereford/Herefordshire area
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Be comfortable working at height and using ladders
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be able to work independently and solve problems on site
- Take pride in completing clean, professional installations
