Field Integration Test Engineer
Location: Shoreditch, London (Onsite)
Contract: 3 Months (Potential Extension)
Rate: £550 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Integration Test Engineer to join a team responsible for testing and validating enterprise hardware, software, and networking solutions in real-world environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing integration test scenarios across multiple hardware configurations, ensuring products meet performance, reliability, and quality standards. You will work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and technical stakeholders to improve test coverage, drive automation initiatives, and support the delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Field Integration Test scenarios across multiple hardware and software configurations.
- Perform end-to-end validation of hardware, firmware, software, and networking components.
- Create and execute manual test cases and document results.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, RF, and networking issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to improve testing processes and test coverage.
- Contribute to the development of automated testing capabilities and frameworks.
- Produce clear test reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across testing and validation activities.
- Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies, automation tools, and wireless technologies.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Embedded Hardware and Software Validation.
- Experience performing System Integration Testing within enterprise environments.
- Understanding of IP Networking and network troubleshooting.
- Experience testing Wireless Technologies and connectivity solutions.
- Proven experience creating and executing manual test cases.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills
- Experience automating Hardware, RF, Firmware, and Software Testing.
- Strong knowledge of RF testing and wireless technologies.
- Experience with:
- Site Surveys
- Link Budget Analysis
- SINR Assessment
- Spectrum Analysis
- Signal Interference Investigation
- Experience developing custom test automation tools and frameworks.
- Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.
