Our client is a well-established provider of Fire and Security solutions, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, installation, and compliance support to commercial clients across the UK. With a strong reputation for customer service and technical excellence, they are seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to support a key client contract based in Canary Wharf.
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Field Service Manager to oversee service delivery operations for a major client site in Canary Wharf. This role combines operational leadership, team management, and client account management, ensuring service standards, KPIs, and contractual obligations are consistently achieved.
The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, maintain strong customer relationships, drive operational performance, and act as a key point of contact for the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a team of Fire and Security engineers, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and conduct regular service review meetings.
- Oversee service delivery performance, ensuring contractual obligations and SLA targets are met.
- Take ownership of operational planning, resource allocation, and engineer productivity.
- Monitor first-time fix rates, planned maintenance compliance, and remedial works completion.
- Ensure all documentation, reports, and compliance records are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Manage operational budgets and identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost control.
- Conduct audits relating to engineer performance, vehicles, equipment, and company processes.
- Work closely with internal support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across the contract.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience within the Fire and Security industry.
- Previous experience managing or supervising engineering teams.
- Strong operational management experience within a service delivery environment.
- Demonstrable client-facing and account management experience.
- Knowledge of relevant Fire and Security standards and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and reporting capabilities.
- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Requirements
- Experience working on large commercial or corporate client contracts.
- Exposure to managing KPI-driven service operations.
- Knowledge of CAFM or engineering management systems.
- Experience overseeing budgets and contract performance.
