Field Line Manager
Logic Fire & Security are recruiting a Field Line Manager. We are a trusted provider within the fire and security sector, delivering high-quality maintenance, reactive, and planned services to a wide range of clients.
Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.
The key purpose of this role is to ensure our engineers are supported in delivering exceptional customer service whilst meeting and exceeding customer KPI and SLA targets. From time to time, you may be required to assist our engineers. You’ll join the business on a remote basis, with weekly visits to our Knaresborough head office, reporting directly to the Head of Service Delivery, with full responsibility for managing a nationwide team of 30 engineers.
If you have previous experience within the fire and security industry and a proven background in managing remote engineering teams, we’d be keen to hear from you. If you are looking to progress further into management and take ownership of service delivery performance, we are equally open to supporting your development and investing in your long-term success.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
