Over 13,600 enterprise customers, including over 85 of the Fortune 100 and nearly 70% of the Global 500, rely on Cohesity to strengthen their resilience while providing Gen AI insights into their vast amounts of data. Formed from the combination of Cohesity with Veritas’ enterprise data protection business, the company’s solutions secure and protect data on-premises, in the cloud, and at the edge. Backed by NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, Cisco, AWS, Google Cloud, and others, Cohesity is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, with offices around the globe.

We’ve been named a Leader by multiple analyst firms and have been globally recognized for Innovation, Product Strength, and Simplicity in Design, and our culture.

Want to join the leader in AI-powered data security? Want to help us simplify the world of data management? The Cohesity UKI Field Marketing team is on a mission to drive net-new logo growth by building executive relationships and pipeline at scale across our highest-value, highest-complexity segments; with urgency and being part of a great team.

At Cohesity, we are offering a unique opportunity for a senior marketing leader with a consistent track record of driving CxO engagement, ABM, and net-new pipeline to join our team as a Senior Field Marketing Manager.

As a Senior Field Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in owning marketing strategy and execution for UK, Strategic Accounts, Public Sector & Alliances; building executive relationships, merging field and channel plans, and driving net-new logo pipeline in segments that don't fit the standard commercial mid-market playbook.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Drive CxO engagement and pipeline across segments that don't fit the standard commercial mid-market playbook: high-touch, executive-led strategic account ABM, and framework-driven, compliance-led public sector buying
  • Build and run executive briefing programs and 1:1 relationship programs with CISOs, CIOs, and CTOs across strategic accounts within the security community
  • Design and execute tiered ABM programs (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) for strategic accounts and public sector buyers, built in lockstep with sales
  • Prioritize and sequence investment across public sector subsectors; central government, health, education, and other key subsectors; treating public sector as a portfolio of distinct subsectors rather than a single, uniform segment
  • Operate industry-led, working closely with the centralized Alliances and Growth teams to ensure vertical programs are shaped by what's actually happening in the market, not built in isolation
  • Work hand-in-hand with the UK channel team and Channel Marketing Manager, recognizing that in some segments; public sector being a clear example, where certain alliance partners carry real weight; the channel team may lead the plan, while in others the field will lead
  • Bring the field plan and channel plan together into one coherent, jointly-owned plan, always built tightly with sales, not around them
  • Own UK cyber security field events end-to-end, from planning and execution through post-event follow-up, including major UK cybersecurity industry events, not limited to strategic and public sector accounts
  • Partner with the SDR team to ensure consistent follow-up on leads and translate marketing activity into accountable, trackable pipeline
  • Partner with sales to translate business risk and board priorities into account-specific marketing strategy and content
  • Navigate public sector procurement cycles and frameworks to shape go-to-market timing and messaging
  • Partner closely with the centralized Alliances team on programs run jointly with major CSP partners
  • Partner closely with the centralized Growth/corporate marketing team to ensure vertical campaigns are industry-led and reflect UK market realities
  • Own budget planning and management for field marketing programs, with accountability for ROI
  • Use AI tools to drive intent signals, personalization at scale, content generation, and account research
  • Track and report on pipeline contribution from strategic accounts, public sector, and alliances, with a primary focus on net-new logo growth, measured as success in this role
  • Provide onsite execution support for major industry events, with travel expected within the UK

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • 8+ years of field marketing, ABM, or closely related experience, with a track record operating at a senior level
  • Proven experience personally running executive briefings and 1:1 relationship programs with CISOs/CIOs/CTOs; not just supporting them
  • A consistent record of successfully partnering with sales, including building plans tightly aligned to sales, not run in parallel
  • Experience building programs specifically designed to win net-new logos, not just influence pipeline in an existing base
  • Channel-centric experience, with a track record building and merging joint plans with partners
  • Deep understanding of how public sector procurement differs from commercial buying, including differing rhythms and priorities across subsectors
  • Strong UKI market knowledge; the analyst landscape, key public sector frameworks, and the competitive vendor set
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing automation systems such as Salesforce, and comfort using AI tools for research, personalization, and content generation
  • Strong business acumen; comfortable reading a P&L and connecting security/IT spend to business risk and board priorities
  • Experience owning budget planning and management for marketing programs, with accountability for ROI
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and comfortable creating structure and process where none currently exists
  • A willingness to work as part of a team on larger, cross-sector industry events in the UK
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Ability to travel within the UK as needed for events and account engagement
