Field Marketing Specialist, EMEA (Events & ABM) – Contract
Location: London – Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
Contract: 6+ months, with possible extension
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Start: ASAP / within 1 month
Travel: Occasional travel across Europe
Hourly Pay: £80 per hour PAYE
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Field Marketing Specialist to join a growing EMEA marketing team within a leading global AI technology organization. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality executive briefings, industry days, workshops, roundtables, and dinners that bring enterprise decision-makers together with the business. This is a hands-on contract role working closely with EMEA Enterprise Marketing, Sales, Business Development teams, and external agencies. We’re looking for someone who enjoys running polished events at pace, takes ownership, and proactively solves problems before they become issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of events across London and EMEA, from initial brief through to post-event debrief.
- Manage venues, catering, AV, run-of-show, badges, seating plans, and on-site event management.
- Manage agencies, venues, and suppliers, including quotes, budgets, and invoice tracking.
- Build and manage event registration processes, including event pages, Salesforce campaigns, RSVPs, attendee trackers, and communications.
- Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to ensure the right customers are invited and engaged.
- Support Account-Based Marketing (ABM) activity for priority enterprise accounts.
- Track registrations and attendance and report on event performance and business impact.
- Prepare briefing packs to ensure internal teams are fully prepared to host customers.
- Identify opportunities to improve event delivery and implement new ideas.
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining a very high level of attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years’ experience in field marketing, event marketing, and/or ABM.
- Experience within the technology sector, ideally software, cloud, data, or AI.
- A strong combination of field marketing, ABM, and sales-facing experience.
- Proven experience delivering executive-level events such as roundtables, briefings, workshops, and dinners.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and an event registration platform such as Swoogo or similar.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach – someone who spots issues and resolves them without waiting to be asked.
- Creative thinking and the ability to take ideas from concept through to execution.
- Comfortable getting involved in both strategic planning and hands-on event administration, including trackers, badges, and seating plans.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple events and stakeholders.

Desirable Experience
- French or German language skills.
- Experience working with Financial Services or Life Sciences audiences.
- Experience delivering events in Paris, Frankfurt, or Munich.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude in day-to-day marketing work.
Candidates must submit a portfolio alongside their CV to be considered for this role.
Your portfolio should demonstrate relevant field marketing, event marketing, and/or ABM experience, ideally including examples of events you have planned and delivered. Examples could include:
- Executive briefings or roundtables
- Customer dinners
- Workshops or industry events
- Event campaigns and registration journeys
- ABM campaigns
- Event concepts or creative marketing initiatives
- Event results, attendance, or business impact
