Field Merchandisers - Various Locations

Including key priority areas: Edinburgh, Leeds, York, Birmingham, Norwich, Ipswich, London (SW) and South West region

Rate of Pay: £15 per hour

25/8 Group simplifies the journey from concept to consumer through an end-to-end suite of services spanning Brand Activation, Logistics & Fulfilment, and Marketplace & E-Commerce Management. The company designs and delivers seamless solutions for product launches, e-commerce growth, and in-store or on-the-ground activations, tailored to clients’ specific business objectives. Integrated teams collaborate across FSDU and POS design, exhibitions, promotional merchandise, warehousing, multi-channel order management, and marketplace setup on platforms such as Amazon and TikTok Shops. Partnering with leading global brands, 25/8 Group combines creativity, strategy, and execution to connect the dots from concept to customer with clarity and measurable impact.


Role Description

Every store visit, perfectly presented.

25/8 Group is looking for a Field Merchandiser to join our network of reliable, professional field workers and bring retail displays to life.

You'll build and maintain product displays, install POS materials, check stock levels, implement promotions and build strong relationships with store teams, working across your own allocated regional patch. This is a freelance, self-employed role, worked on an ad hoc basis. You plan and schedule your own visits, work independently, and travel between stores in your own reliable car.

What You'll Do

  • Build, install and maintain attractive product displays and promotional units
  • Install and maintain POS materials, including posters, signage, shelf strips and promotional displays
  • Ensure products are correctly positioned, well presented and fully stocked
  • Implement promotional campaigns and merchandising guidelines in store
  • Check stock levels and replenish products where required
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to management
  • Build positive relationships with store staff and management
  • Complete regular store visits and merchandising reports

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to follow a brief accurately, and know what a good in-store display looks like
  • Clear communication and reporting. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal communication and professional reporting.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships in-store and representing clients effectively.
  • Candidates should possess Sales skills, including an understanding of sell-through, promotional activity, and influencing retail outcomes.
  • Candidates should possess hands-on Retail experience, with familiarity in merchandising, stock management, and POS implementation.
  • Confidence planning and scheduling your own visits
  • Comfortable working independently and driving to store locations
  • A professional, can-do attitude
  • Your own reliable car, and willingness to travel across your allocated patch. This is essential based on the need to travel across areas and regions to multiple sites so that you do not have to rely on public transport.

Requirements

Due to the nature of the role we will require you to be able to be:

  • Comfortable using mobile and web-based reporting tools; basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom and ability to travel regularly within your allocated region.
  • Prior experience in field merchandising, retail field sales, or in-store marketing is beneficial.
