📍 London & surrounding counties
💰 £36,000–£38,000 DOE
🚗 Field-based | Full UK driving licence required

I’m working with a growing technology business looking for a Field Print Engineer to join its Managed Print team.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a managed print, MFD or photocopier engineering background who wants a broader role combining printer installations, print software and customer support.
The business is looking for someone who can bridge the gap between print hardware and IT support — primarily installing and supporting printers/MFDs, while also handling straightforward remote IT issues when required.
What you’ll be doing
- Installing and configuring printer and MFD fleets at customer sites
- Working with PaperCut and wider print management solutions
- Setting up print queues, drivers and network printers
- Troubleshooting printing, scanning and connectivity issues
- Supporting customer deployments and migrations
- Carrying out fault finding and basic hardware support
- Providing remote 1st line technical support where required
- Completing site surveys, installation planning and technical documentation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
