PGA Design Engineer
£45,000 – £60,000 | Greater Coventry | Hybrid
I’m currently working with an established technology business looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is a great opportunity for an FPGA engineer who enjoys working on technically challenging products and being involved throughout the design and development lifecycle.
The Role:
- Design and develop FPGA solutions for complex electronic systems
- Work across the full FPGA development lifecycle, from initial requirements through to implementation and verification
- Develop and test FPGA designs using VHDL and/or Verilog
- Work closely with electronics and software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into wider systems
- Support simulation, verification, debugging, and hardware testing
- Contribute to design reviews and technical documentation
- Help develop and improve existing FPGA architectures and designs

What We're Looking For:


Get help with your application

- Commercial experience in FPGA design and development
- Strong experience with VHDL and/or Verilog
- Good understanding of digital electronics and FPGA architectures
- Experience with FPGA simulation, verification, and debugging
- Ability to work closely with wider electronics/software engineering teams
- Experience working through the full FPGA development lifecycle
