Customer Reconnection Representative (Field Based)

We're looking for motivated and professional individuals to join Ascent as a Customer Reconnection Representative.
About the Role
As a Customer Reconnection Representative, you'll work independently across an allocated geographical territory, conducting customer visits and gathering information on behalf of our clients. You'll engage with customers who may be experiencing financial difficulties, identify signs of vulnerability, and support positive engagement between customers and their lenders.
Working closely with our Field Support & Scheduling Coordinator, who will schedule and coordinate customer visits, you'll travel throughout your designated territory delivering a professional, respectful, and empathetic customer experience.
No two days are the same. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting new people, working independently, solving problems, and making a genuine difference to customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Visit customers in their homes and conduct face-to-face conversations.
- Gather accurate information and complete visit reports.
- Identify vulnerable customers and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Deliver a professional, respectful, and empathetic customer experience.
- Travel throughout your allocated territory, with visits scheduled by our Field Support & Scheduling Coordinator.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Previous experience in customer service, collections, investigations, field-based roles, or debt recovery is desirable.

37.5 hours per week, including some evening work and occasional Saturday mornings. Travel throughout your allocated territory is required, with occasional travel outside your usual area to support business needs.
