Field Safety Engineer EMEA
Within Brady Corporation, our dedicated LoTo Safety Services business unit specialises in hazardous energy control and safety solutions. While Brady delivers a broad portfolio of identification and safety solutions globally, our specialized services team partners directly with industry leaders on site to protect what matters most: keeping workers safe, preventing accidents, and eliminating hazardous energy risks on the plant floor.
The Field Safety Engineer EMEA serves as the technical field safety expert and customer-facing representative of Brady on client sites across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site LoTo Discovery: Walk through customer plants to assess layouts, review machine safety, and agree on equipment in scope.
- Machinery Data Capture: Trace, photograph, and document all energy sources (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal, and chemical) on equipment.
- LINK360 Authoring & Approval: Draft visual procedures in Brady’s LINK360 software, incorporate customer feedback, and secure final approval.
- Physical Tagging & Installation: Print, mount, and install durable placards and labels/tags at machine isolation points.
- Client Audits & Training: Train customer staff on safe isolation practices and software usage, and audit existing LOTO compliance.
- Safety Solutions: Recommend complementary safety hardware, custom shadow boards, padlocks, lockout devices, or other Brady products

Your Skills
- Technical Background: Bachelor’s degree in electro-mechanical/electrical engineering or industrial safety rules, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
- Experience: 3+ years in industrial maintenance, automation, machine commissioning, or machinery safety. Comfortable working hands-on around electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems in active manufacturing environments.
- Certifications: Holding any recognized electrical (e.g., BA4/BA5, NEN 3140, NF C 18-510, DGUV V3, BS 7671) or safety credential (e.g., VCA-VOL, Prevention Advisor, IOSH, NEBOSH, CMSE) is an asset.
- Languages & Communication: Good interpersonal skills with fluent English.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel (>50% travel) and a valid driver's license.
