About Meat Giant

We supply restaurants, QSRs, caterers, hospitality groups, food manufacturers, meal-prep businesses, retailers and other foodservice customers across London. Our facility is BRCGS Grade AA and SALSA accredited, with full halal assurance, traceability and the ability to produce bespoke, cut-to-specification and marinated meat products. We are now looking to strengthen our commercial team with a Field Sales & Account Manager who can help us win new business and grow relationships with existing customers.
The Role
This is a hands-on, field-based sales role. You will be responsible for identifying and winning new customers across London while developing and expanding existing Meat Giant accounts. You will spend significant time meeting customers face-to-face, visiting restaurants and food businesses, understanding their requirements, presenting our capabilities, arranging samples, following up opportunities and converting prospects into long-term customers. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, building relationships and taking ownership of the sales process from initial contact through to repeat business.

- Identify and target potential customers across London.
- Prospect restaurants, QSRs, caterers, food manufacturers, meal-prep companies, hotels and hospitality groups.
- Make outbound calls, emails and LinkedIn approaches.

- Build relationships with owners, procurement teams, buyers, chefs, operations managers and senior decision-makers.
- Identify customer requirements and develop appropriate product solutions.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals.

- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Convert prospects into active trading accounts.
Account Management
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing Meat Giant customers.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer spend.
- Cross-sell additional meat products and processing solutions.
- Identify new product opportunities within existing accounts.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve commercial issues.
- Identify opportunities when customers open new sites or expand their operations.
- Work towards increasing Meat Giant's share of each customer's total meat spend.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
