Turn your technical know-how into commercial impact as a Field Sales Engineer

This is a role where relationships matter, solutions get designed:in, and your momentum is rewarded through clear goals, growth opportunities, and a busy pipeline across Imaging and Photonics markets. The successful candidate must have experience selling Imagery equipment within a manufacturing environment

What You Will Do

  • Drive new business growth with high-potential imaging customers, turning opportunities into quotations and closed orders.
  • Identify and develop design-in opportunities that create short- and long-term recurring revenue.
  • Build strong customer relationships from R and D, Engineering and Purchasing through to CEO/CTO level, ensuring smooth, informed decision-making.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, resolving potential post-delivery issues quickly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to progress orders, update the CRM and maintain accurate sales activity reporting.
  • Act as a product expert at exhibitions and in direct customer conversations, showcasing Imaging and Photonics value with confidence.

The successful candidate must have experience selling Imagery equipment within a manufacturing environment

What You Will Bring

  • A relevant technical qualification (for example Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics) or comparable technical sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling specialist thermal imaging cameras and accessories into multiple market sectors, ideally including OEM and scientific sales cycles.
  • Strong customer and supplier relationship management skills, with the ability to operate at both engineering and commercial levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including confident telephone and face-to-face selling.
  • A proactive approach to commercial awareness, negotiation and closing deals, supported by accurate CRM discipline.
