Field Sales Executive – Convenience Retail (Fixed Term Contract)
Immediate Start | Field Sales | FMCG | Up to £37,200 per annum OTE
Do you know how to turn a store visit into a sales opportunity? Have you sold into convenience, wholesale or independent retail before?

Smollan is recruiting a team of Sales Executives to support a high-profile 12-week campaign on behalf of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, driving sales across its Ready to Drink alcohol portfolio.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll take ownership of a defined territory, visiting convenience and independent retailers, securing new orders and increasing distribution.
We're looking for people who can quickly build credibility with store owners, work independently, and make an immediate commercial impact following training.
What's in it for you?
- £31,000 annual salary (pro rata for contract duration)
- Up to 20% performance bonus (OTE £34,800 annual equivalent)

Contract Details
- Fixed Term Contract (9th October 2026)
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Territory - South West London and surrounding areas
What You'll Be Doing
- Loading your van daily from designated cash & carry locations
- Selling Ready to Drink products directly into convenience and independent retailers
- Driving product distribution and increasing sales within your territory
- Building strong relationships with store owners and decision-makers
- Managing credit accounts and handling cash transactions accurately
- Delivering against daily call files and performance targets
- Ensuring excellent in-store execution and product visibility

Who We're Looking For
This role is ideal for experienced:
- Field Sales Executives
- Van Sales Representatives

- Wholesale Sales Representatives
Essential Requirements
- Proven field sales, van sales or FMCG sales experience
- Experience selling into convenience, wholesale or independent retail environments
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets
- Confident working independently and managing your own territory
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Experience handling cash and managing credit accounts
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
- Comfortable selling and handling alcohol products
Please Note
This is a short-term, high-impact sales assignment. We're looking for candidates who can become productive quickly following training and are confident operating independently from day one.
The successful candidate will be commercially driven, highly organised and motivated by achieving results.
