Sales Representative – Healthcare Sector
Epsom / Surrey
£37,500 + Company Car + Quarterly Bonus
An exciting opportunity to join a leading independent healthcare provider as a Sales Representative, taking ownership of a Surrey territory. This is a predominantly field-based position focused on developing relationships with optometrists and other healthcare professionals, increasing awareness of specialist ophthalmology services and supporting continued growth across the territory.
Everything you need to know about the role
As Sales Representative, you will:
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing referrers across Greater Manchester.
- Visit opticians, referral management centres and GP practices to promote specialist NHS ophthalmology services.
- Increase awareness of available services, hospital locations, patient benefits and referral pathways.
- Identify opportunities to increase market share and develop the territory.
- Manage your own diary, customer meetings and route planning across the region.
- Act as a key point of contact for existing and prospective referrers.
- Promote and attend optometrist events, open evenings, presentations, conferences and exhibitions.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings, outcomes and new contacts.
- Work towards agreed commercial KPIs while providing a high-quality experience to customers and referrers.

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
You will be:
- An experienced field-based sales professional, ideally with experience managing your own geographical territory.
- Confident developing new relationships and maintaining existing customer accounts.
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable identifying opportunities for growth.
- A strong communicator who is confident engaging with healthcare professionals and other senior stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a wider team.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage your own diary, workload and territory effectively.
- Keen to develop your knowledge of specialist ophthalmology services and the wider healthcare market.
- Experienced within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or ophthalmology ideally, although strong field sales experience from another sector will also be considered.
- A full UK driving licence holder.
