Job Description
CPM have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join us on behalf of a well-known family run company who have been making tea and coffee for over 100 years. You will work within the hospitality industry, encouraging stock of their fantastic products through fostering trusted relationships with Wholesale partners and direct engagement with venues.
Up to £32k per annum (depending on experience) + 15% bonus STC. Full time Monday - Friday
Ideal location:
Wakefield, United Kingdom, WF1
Territory covering:
- Bradford
- Carlisle
- Durham
- Darlington
- Halifax
- Lancaster
- Leeds
- Newcastle
- Galashiels
- Wakefield
- York and surrounding areas.
What will you be doing in this Business Development Executive role?
Working with food and drink wholesalers, to build trust and advocacy for the exciting range of Teas and Coffees, creating new opportunities to sustainably grow distribution whilst ensuring more end-consumers can enjoy these incredible brands. This is the engine room of what we do! You’ll also be directly visiting hospitality premises as well as independent and franchised hotels to actively encourage them to stock the exceptional range of premium tea and coffee products.

As a Business Development Executive, you will…
- Be the face of Taylor’s of Harrogate within our wholesaler depots, building trusting relationships that lead to advocacy for our products and sales opportunities for you. This may include attending networking events.
- Visit wholesalers regularly to ensure we are ‘front of mind’ when they are talking to their customers about tea and coffee.
- Seek out your own suitable leads within the hospitality sector, contacting either by phone/email and face-to-face visits. Previous journey planning experience ideal…
- Build solid relationships with end-users from the hospitality sector through ongoing contact.
- Hold a full driver’s licence that enables you to drive in the UK and use of your own vehicle
