Field Sales Executive

Greater Manchester | Field Based | Up to £45,000 Basic + Commission + Car Allowance | OTE up to £69,000

A field sales role with warm leads, real autonomy and serious earning potential.

We’re recruiting for a Field Sales Executive to join a growing specialist training business with an established brand, a strong social media presence and a steady flow of enquiries. This isn't a role where you'll be handed a cold database and told to make hundreds of calls. You'll have warm leads coming into the business, an existing pipeline to work from and regular inbound enquiries, while still having the freedom to get out into the market, make your own appointments and win new business. The role covers Greater Manchester, so you'll spend your time meeting business owners, building relationships and turning conversations into sales.

What's in it for you?

  • Up to £45,000 basic salary
  • Up to £2,000 per month commission
  • OTE up to £69,000
  • Car allowance
  • Warm pipeline provided
  • Regular inbound enquiries
  • Strong social media presence generating leads
  • Genuine field-based role
  • Autonomy to build your own territory and appointments
  • Direct access to senior leadership

What will you actually be selling?

There are two sides to the role, giving you multiple opportunities to generate revenue.

Training & upskilling

You'll visit businesses and speak to owners and managers about their teams. Where there is a need for training or development, you'll introduce the relevant courses and turn that conversation into a sale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Apprenticeship partnerships

You'll also identify businesses that could benefit from taking on apprentices. The academy has a strong pool of candidates, giving you a compelling proposition to take to employers and develop into long-term partnerships.

This is a proper field sales role. You'll be out meeting customers rather than sitting behind a desk all day.

You'll:

  • Work warm leads and inbound enquiries
  • Visit businesses across Greater Manchester
  • Arrange your own appointments
  • Prospect for new business
  • Build relationships with business owners and decision makers
  • Identify training and apprenticeship opportunities
  • Present solutions and close sales
  • Manage your pipeline and follow-ups
  • Build repeat business and referrals
  • Work towards monthly sales targets

The business is already generating enquiries. Your job is to turn those opportunities into revenue and create more of your own.

Who are we looking for?

We want a proven field salesperson.

You don't need experience in hair, beauty, apprenticeships or training. That knowledge can be taught. What we need is someone who knows how to sell face-to-face, enjoys speaking to business owners and has the personality and confidence to open doors.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven B2B field sales experience
  • A track record of winning new business
  • Experience selling face-to-face
  • Confidence dealing with business owners and decision makers
  • A proactive, energetic approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine appetite to hit targets and earn commission
  • Excellent organisation and follow-up skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Good knowledge of Greater Manchester

Personality matters here. We're looking for someone confident, lively and commercially minded who enjoys getting out, meeting people and making things happen. If you're a field salesperson who wants warm leads without losing the freedom to hunt for your own business, this is a role worth talking about.
