Job Overview
Role: Field Sales Executive
Client: Pladis
Responsibilities
- Represent some of the UK's most loved brands
- Visit major grocery retailers across the territory
- Help drive growth for household favourites such as McVitie's Digestives, Chocolate Digestives, Jaffa Cakes, Hobnobs, Jacob's Crackers, and Penguin Bars
- Work closely with store teams to:
- Increase product availability
- Secure additional display space
- Deliver impactful promotions
- Influence store decisions
- Identify opportunities to drive sales growth
Daily Tasks
- Visit stores daily in line with your journey plan
- Build strong relationships with store managers and colleagues
- Secure additional display locations and secondary sitings
- Ensure Pladis products are available, visible, and shoppable
- Support new product launches, seasonal events, and promotional activity
- Merchandise products to maximise visibility and sales performance
- Use sales data and insights to identify growth opportunities
- Report activity accurately using mobile technology and sales systems
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback

Essential Skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Confident using technology and mobile reporting systems
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, FMCG, or sales would be beneficial
- Experience working towards targets, KPIs, or performance goals
- Understanding of the grocery retail landscape, including major retailers such as Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, and Co-op
Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
