At Brown-Forman, our ambition to conquer the On-Trade market is exciting, and as a Field Sales Executive, you'll be at the forefront of this journey. As a vital member of our dynamic On-Trade sales team, your mission will be to cultivate and expand our independent On-Trade business and forge lasting relationships within the independent free trade across Liverpool area. This pivotal role empowers you to amplify Brown-Forman's portfolio presence, driving growth across distribution, value, volume, brand advocacy, visibility, and impactful promotional activations – all to secure winning positions in the vibrant On-Trade landscape.

What you can expect

  • Champion Iconic Brands & Cultivate Super Premium Growth: Take the reins in further building the legendary Jack Daniel's, while spearheading the expansion of our exceptional Super Premium portfolio, featuring the distinguished El Jimador, the Mediterranean marvel Gin Mare, the award-winning Diplomatico, and the sophisticated Woodford Reserve.
  • Elevate Customer Partnerships: Nurture and expand relationships with all key customers within your territory, becoming their trusted partner in success.
  • Drive Value-Led Growth: Collaborate closely with customers to develop and execute business plans, prioritizing value creation that naturally fuels volume expansion.
  • Unlock New Business: Pursue new business opportunities by collaborating with national and regional wholesale teams and directly securing key accounts to expand our premium brand presence in influential on-premise locations.
  • Forge Internal Connections: Cultivate strong collaborative relationships across Brown-Forman's UK operations and the wider On-Trade team, fostering a unified and high-performing environment.
  • Act like an On-Trade Ambassador: Serve as a key point of contact within your region, actively participating in industry events and building invaluable relationships at strategic gatherings and activities.
  • Territory Management: Expertly maintain, plan, and prepare for customer engagements within the Salesforce platform, ensuring meticulous organization and time management.
  • Craft High-Impact Account Strategies: Create compelling Account Plans for independent free-trade premium influencer accounts, designed to deliver significant year-over-year value and volume growth in alignment with key performance indicators.
  • Resourceful Budget Management: With the support of your Regional Sales Manager (RSM), effectively plan and manage company budgets and resources to maximize impact.
  • Drive Efficiency and Compliance: Leverage CRM technology and adhere to established sales processes and tools for streamlined operations and effective performance.
  • Champion Responsible Growth: Execute incentive programs under RSM guidance while consistently upholding corporate and social responsibility guidelines.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • IT and Social media experience and maturity - MS Office applications & Google applications.
  • Strong Business Acumen, Fluent English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication skills (influencing, listening, presentations, written).
  • Self-starter with the ability to plan, prepare, and gain alignment with others.
  • Able to prioritise with demonstrated ability to organise and manage multiple projects to completion by specific time-bound deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels with strong stakeholder awareness.
  • Collaborative team player who is adaptable, flexible, and resilient.
