Field Sales Executive – FMCG (UK Market)

Location: Luton, England (London Region)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and field-oriented Field Sales Executive to expand and strengthen our FMCG distribution footprint across the United Kingdom.

This is a travel-intensive, performance-focused role aimed at building long-term partnerships with wholesalers, ethnic retailers, independent stores, and distribution partners while driving consistent month-on-month revenue growth.

The selected candidate will act as a strategic bridge between:

  • UK customers
  • The V EXFO-UK operations team.

The primary objective is to increase UK revenue through structured travel planning, strong relationship management, aggressive order generation, and disciplined account follow-up.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field
  • MBA (Marketing / International Business) preferred

Required Experience:

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in FMCG sales, distribution, or retail sales
  • Prior exposure to UK wholesale, ethnic retail, or independent retail markets preferred
  • Proven experience in field sales and territory management
  • Experience handling distributors, wholesalers, and B2B customers
  • Exposure to logistics coordination and route planning
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving monthly or quarterly sales targets

Required Skills:

  • Travel extensively across the UK (60–70%) to meet wholesalers, retailers, distributors, prospects, and business partners.
  • Develop assigned territories by mapping high-potential South Asian retail clusters and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers while acquiring and onboarding new retail, wholesale, and distribution partners.
  • Drive consistent month-on-month revenue growth and achieve defined monthly sales targets.
  • Reactivate inactive accounts, increase order frequency and average basket size, and promote high-volume, high-margin, and newly launched products.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate order, delivery, and fulfilment requirements.
  • Maintain structured customer follow-ups, address account and delivery concerns, and ensure smooth order-to-delivery execution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and customer database records, including customer health, sales pipeline, activities, and revenue performance.
  • Coordinate with internal Sales Support, Operations, Warehouse, Dispatch, Finance, and Marketing teams for lead generation, follow-ups, order planning, payment collection, and territory-specific promotions.
  • Represent the company at trade meetings, exhibitions, community business events, and customer engagements.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, regional demand, and market trends across the UK.
  • Provide regular territory performance and market intelligence reports to management.
  • Identify and recommend new regional expansion opportunities, sub-distributors, and channel partnerships.
