If, after reading the role description below, you’d like to apply, please send your CV and a cover letter to hiring+am@galeta.co.uk explaining why this role and why now. We’re far more interested in clarity of thought, ambition and judgement than perfectly polished applications. No agencies, please.
About Us
Galeta is not a typical bakery. We’re one of the UK’s fastest-growing wholesale bakeries, supplying handmade, premium bakes to some of the most recognisable names in food and culture, from Selfridges and Tate to London’s best independent cafés, coffee roasters and hospitality groups. Everything we do is built around craft, reliability and relationships. We bake fresh every day, we deliver early, and we take our customers’ trade seriously. That mindset runs through the whole business, including sales.
About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Field Sales Manager to convert our healthy pipeline of leads for our London wholesale customers, while also helping convert these customers to repeat customers and become a part of the Galeta family. This is a hands-on, outward-facing role with real responsibility. You’ll be trusted to manage and grow relationships, protect revenue, and spot opportunities to do more with the right customers. You’ll spend time on the phone, on the road, in cafés and kitchens, and in constant conversation about how Galeta can support our customers’ trade better.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
