Role Description The Field Sales Executive is a full-time hybrid role based in Kirkbymoorside, York, with regular travel to customer sites and some flexibility to work from home for planning and reporting activities. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships and securing new sales opportunities. Daily tasks include:

The Field Sales Executive will track sales performance, prepare concise reports, and collaborate with internal teams on merchandising, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements. The role also involves:
- Monitoring competitor activity
- Gathering feedback from retailers
- Contributing ideas to enhance sales strategies and overall retail growth
Qualifications
- Proven field sales or account management experience in retail or consumer goods, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence engaging a variety of stakeholders at store and regional level.
- Ability to analyze sales data, interpret market trends, and use insights to identify opportunities and improve performance.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including planning efficient store visits and managing multiple accounts and priorities.
- Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems, including basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or similar software.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field, while collaborating effectively with colleagues in a hybrid work environment.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly in and around York and other designated regions.
- Experience in independent retail, and farming is an advantage; formal qualifications in business, sales, or marketing are beneficial but not mandatory.
