Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This Is You

  • A true pioneer: You are in your element out in the field and thrive on exploring new markets.
  • A proven growth driver: You can point to a track record of growing new business in a previous role, and you are looking to bring that same energy here.
  • Persistent and pleasant: You listen well, understand what the client actually needs, and do not give up easily.
  • Technically minded: Comfortable getting into the detail of a quote. An estimating background, or experience in a technical or industrial sector, is an advantage, though not essential.
  • Independent and driven: You take initiative and do not wait for opportunities, you create them.
  • A strategic thinker: You see the big picture and know exactly how to turn a prospect into a long-term client.
  • Skilled communicator and digitally fluent: You communicate clearly in English, and are technically capable of preparing accurate quotes for clients. Familiar with CRM systems, Microsoft software and invoicing tools such as Sage, but you do not need to be a wizard in any of them, just comfortable picking things up.
  • Flexible with travel: You are happy to stay overnight now and again when visiting clients further afield.
