Job Role: Field Sales Representative Carpets & Flooring
Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas (field-based)
Employment type: Full-time, employed
Appointments: Pre-booked customer appointments
Pay: £30,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission
Realistic OTE: £45,000 - £55,000

The Role
We are expanding across Glasgow and the surrounding areas and need an experienced flooring sales professional to represent us in customer’s homes and manage each opportunity from consultation through to close.

Key responsibilities
- Understanding customer requirements and budgets during each visit.
- Measuring rooms accurately.
- Presenting flooring samples and explaining payment and finance options.
- Preparing accurate quotations and closing sales.
- Following up outstanding quotations and opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate customer and appointment records.
- Delivering an excellent customer experience from start to finish.

What we are looking for
- Previous experience in the flooring industry, or a closely related sector, is essential.
- Proven face-to-face sales, presentation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good IT skills required.
- A professional, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently as part of a wider team.
- A clean, full UK driving licence and confidence working in customers' homes.
