Company Description

Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Field Sales Insight Manager to be based in London, UK.

The Insight Manager is responsible for managing Field Sales channel strategy and performance. They do this by gathering insights that will accelerate growth and help field teams achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness across the impulse channel.

They will work closely with the Field Sales Strategy Lead and Head of Field Sales to develop and deliver the perfect understanding of our performance in Field Sales. They will then build the insight systems and data visualisation tools to enable timely understanding of performance and strategic decision-making.

This role has a large part to play in both driving strategic business decisions in the long term and tracking performance short term. It has high exposure to multiple departments and the leadership team, so developing excellent relationships with our internal stakeholders is key.

Job Description

Strategic Insight

  • Discover, develop, and deliver strategic insights to shape the long-term future of the Impulse channel by conducting regular channel analysis.
  • By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll develop innovative strategies to enhance channel performance and drive commercial growth.
  • You will provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and multiple senior-level stakeholders.

Long Term Planning

  • Continuously monitoring industry developments, you will plan targets effectively, setting KPIs and forecasting to identify emerging opportunities within both channels, course correcting where necessary.
  • Regular communication with stakeholders is essential to support decision-making and unlock potential here.
  • This role has full ownership of this area and will have to coach other teams on understanding key trends that will impact performance.

Storytelling With Data

  • Turn data into insight and insight into engaging messages.
  • By uncovering insights that will determine our strategic approach, the role is accountable for positioning these recommendations and aligning stakeholders.
  • This will be done by being the expert in our internal data but also using external data sources to help give context to the insights and influencing at all levels.

Data Quality

  • Working closely with the Field Sales Data and Red Bull Global Teams to ensure territories, coverage plans, and interventions are built with the correct attribution and sustainable in the long term.
  • This is a key element of the job to ensure all other elements of data analysis can be done smoothly and correctly.

Qualifications

  • Strong and demonstrable experience working in an insight role for an agency, retailer, or manufacturer.
  • Proven experience working with and managing multiple sources of data (internal and external).
  • Demonstrable ability to turn data into insight and convert insight into action.
  • Confident and experienced presenter at all levels - strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders with confident and clear communication.
  • Excellent data storytelling and visualisation skills, with a keen eye for detail, some might say a perfectionist.
  • Strong prioritisation, organisational, and time management skills.

Performance Goals

  • Deliver comprehensive monthly strategic reviews and recommendations, identifying specific areas to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop effective agency management by implementing clear ways of working and demonstrating a process-driven approach.
  • Take full responsibility for creating, monitoring, and delivering targets through agency partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximising impact.
  • Present strategic insight proposals to the Head of Field Sales and Field Sales Strategy Lead, focusing on long-term channel topics and innovative growth strategies.
  • Successfully lead the monthly performance review and steer the business unit process with National Sales Managers, coaching on key trends in performance and guiding them on how to interpret results.
  • Demonstrate coaching, mentoring, and supporting other team members, enabling a collaborative environment that encourages professional development and growth.
