Commercially Driven Field Sales Manager
Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for a commercially driven Field Sales Manager to join our team at Bestway Healthcare. This is a field-based territory management role covering the below areas:
Coventry/Leicester/Nottingham/Oxford (LE/CV/NN/OX)
The successful candidate will ideally be based centrally in Leicester / Coventry.
You’ll be responsible for growing sales, value, and margin across your region, building strong relationships with independent pharmacy owners and decision-makers, and identifying opportunities to increase customer spend across our product categories.
Representing Lexon, Wardles, and Lexon Specials, you’ll combine account management, new business development, customer negotiations, and account reviews to deliver against sales targets and KPIs.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being customer-facing, building relationships, and delivering commercial growth.
Main Responsibilities
Driver of Sales Growth
- Shape, develop, and deliver a critical path to growing existing and onboarding new Independent accounts.
- Prospect and onboard new and manage the portfolio of existing accounts, maximizing sales of generic, parallel import, dressing, and OTC products.
- Develop and implement an effective sales plan to achieve personal and team targets.
- Identify and capitalize on upselling, cross-selling, and new product opportunities (leveraging customer data, deals, and new offerings).
- Manage account profitability (P&L) by maximizing volume and margin.

Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service to build strong relationships with new and existing accounts.
- Promote and represent the company's key brands (Lexon and Wardles).
- Manage day-to-day operations for Lexon & Wardles accounts, securing new business and expanding the portfolio.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Communication & Collaboration
- Share relevant market insights with the commercial buying team.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date pricing and stock information to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer experiences.
The Ideal Candidate
- Understanding of the pharmacy industry, trends, and challenges.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with account holders.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills to overcome objections and secure deals.
- Numerate and a strong proficiency of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Commitment to ethical and transparent account management.
- Valid UK Driving License and reside within the region.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment (adapting to new processes and changes).
- Strong team player, contributing to achieving team objectives while hitting individual targets.
- Flexible approach for internal and external meetings, including travel and potential overnight stays.
- Represents the company at industry functions and events.
