Job Description

As Field Sales Manager, you will lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) across Ireland. You will be the driving force behind further professionalising the sales function, coaching your team to achieve ambitious sales targets, identify new business opportunities, and expand into new markets.

This is a hands-on leadership role, based in our Larne office two days per week, with the remainder of your time spent in the field alongside your BDMs, providing coaching, support, and strategic direction to maximise performance and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead, motivate and manage a team of field sales reps to achieve the targets within the country's budget. Regularly coach and provide feedback, to create a best-in-class team, focused on driving success. Conduct regular 1:1 and team meetings to align on the strategy and remove barriers to performance. Plan territories and accounts to maximise coverage, efficiency and results.
  • Execution: Translate the strategy into actionable field plans that can be monitored and forecast, using the CRM system. Where needed, identify any performance gaps and address.
  • Market research: Gather intelligence, insights and customer feedback to influence the strategy and provide the Head of Sales with tangible data to drive the sales numbers.
  • Customer Relationships: You'll build and maintain strong customer relationships focused on development and growth, striving for excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Client engagement & relationship building: Support the team in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and accounts. Drive high standards of customer service and brand reputation.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports, forecasts and insights to the Head of Sales using the CRM system. Use this data to inform decisions within the team and to challenge the'status quo' within the business. Ensure system hygiene and utilise this to build a true pipeline view.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with marketing and delivery teams to align campaigns and client solutions by sharing market intelligence. This offers BauWatch with a streamlined approach to effectively use market research to build opportunity.
  • Talent: Identify high potential team members, making the most of our Multi-Country relationships and our BauWatch Academy to build development plans using a blend of collaboration and e-learning to build our next BauWatch Sales Directors!
  • Company Values: Model company values and maintain a performance culture within the Ireland Sales Team, continuing the accountable but supportive culture embedded by the Head of Sales up to this point.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
