About the role We’re looking for a Field Sales Operations Coordinator to keep the operational side of our field sales team running smoothly. You’ll sit between Field Sales, New Business, the Diary Team, Documentation and Leasing, technical teams and Onboarding, making sure appointments are properly prepared, deals are commercially sound and nothing gets stuck between sale and installation. It’s a busy, hands-on role for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership of lots of moving parts.

- Work with the Diary Team on appointment scheduling, travel, rep allocation and any potential conflicts.
- Maintain an accurate view of the field sales pipeline, including deals in progress, on hold and moving through onboarding.
- Identify deals that have stalled and make sure the right follow-up happens quickly.
- Check deals submitted by field sales are complete, correctly structured and commercially sound before they progress.
- Coordinate amendments and re-signing with Documentation and Leasing where needed.
- Manage changes following site surveys, working between the rep, technical teams and other departments to keep deals moving.
- Support the Sales Operations Manager with deals at risk of cancellation, including speaking with customers where needed.
- Be the day-to-day operational contact for field reps, helping with documents, queries, demo notes and anything blocking progress.
- Manage practical field-team administration including hotel bookings and annual leave availability.
- Maintain accurate field sales reporting across deal volumes, cancellations, average deal value and appointment-to-installation times.
- Spot emerging issues early and escalate them to the right people.
- Identify processes that could work better and help put improvements in place.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
