Role Description
GVS Cosmo Limited is currently recruiting Field Sales Representatives for both Part-Time and Permanent positions across the UK.
Students are strongly encouraged to apply. This role may be particularly suitable for university and college students looking for flexible work alongside their studies, as well as individuals seeking a permanent career in sales and business development.
The role offers a combination of remote working and field-based sales activities. Representatives will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with retailers, wholesalers, beauty shops, convenience stores, online sellers, and distributors within their assigned areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and approaching potential new customers and business partners.
- Visiting local retailers, beauty shops, convenience stores, wholesalers, and other potential stockists.
- Contacting prospective customers by telephone, email, social media, and other appropriate channels.
- Presenting and promoting GVS Cosmo’s product range.
- Conducting virtual meetings and occasional face-to-face customer meetings.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Negotiating prices and commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Generating leads and converting prospective customers into orders.
- Supporting promotional campaigns and new product launches.
- Gathering information about competitors, customer demand, pricing, and market trends.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, leads, orders, and sales activities.
- Reporting sales performance and customer feedback to the wider GVS Cosmo team.
- Working with internal teams to help ensure customers receive accurate product information, timely deliveries, and consistently high levels of service.

Qualifications & Skills
We are interested in candidates who are confident, motivated, friendly, and comfortable speaking with businesses and potential customers.
Previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential for every applicant, particularly for students and candidates who demonstrate strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence approaching and speaking with potential customers.
- An interest in sales, business development, retail, cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG.
- Good customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Basic digital skills, including email, video conferencing, CRM systems, and standard office software.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities.
- The ability to work independently and manage an assigned sales territory.
- A target-driven and proactive attitude.
- The ability to maintain accurate records and provide regular sales updates.

Knowledge of UK retail or wholesale channels is advantageous but not essential.
Previous experience in field sales, FMCG, cosmetics, beauty, personal care, retail, or wholesale is highly beneficial.

Candidates must have a valid right to work in the UK.
A full UK driving licence and access to transport are beneficial for candidates undertaking customer visits but may not be essential for every territory.
