FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Self-Employed
Commission Based Salary - STANDARD OTE £50,000 - £70,000
Are you an experienced Field Sales or Direct Sales professional looking for the freedom of self-employment, without having to generate your own leads?
We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing home improvement business for a Field Sales Design Consultant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-value products, visiting qualified customers in their homes and helping them find the perfect solution for their property.
With qualified leads provided, extensive product training and ongoing support, you'll have everything you need to build a successful self-employed sales career.
THE ROLE
As a Field Sales Design Consultant, you will:
- Visit qualified prospective and existing customers in their homes
- Build strong relationships and understand each customer's individual requirements
- Consult with customers to recommend the most appropriate products and solutions
- Present and demonstrate a range of high-quality home improvement products
- Prepare detailed written quotations and proposals
- Manage the customer journey from initial consultation through to sale
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the process
- Work independently while receiving ongoing support, training and qualified leads

THE COMPANY

With a strong marketing strategy generating qualified leads and a well-established support network behind you, this is an opportunity to join a business that is continuing to grow.
You will be selling high-value products, with an average order value of £3,000+, giving you the opportunity to earn significant commission.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a confident and driven sales professional who enjoys working directly with customers and is motivated by earning potential.
You will ideally have:
- At least 2 years' experience in direct sales
- Experience selling directly to customers within their homes
- Previous experience within home improvement, interiors or a similar sector is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident, consultative approach to sales
- The ability to build rapport quickly and understand customer needs
- Excellent self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Strong IT skills and confidence using a laptop or tablet
- The ability to learn and retain detailed product knowledge
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
- A strong commercial mindset and desire to maximise your earning potential
