Role Description
The Field Sales Representative role is a full-time position covering the North Yorkshire to Norfolk territory, with a working pattern of four days on the road and one day based at home.

The individual in this role will be responsible for selling street furniture and litter bin solutions to customers across the assigned territory, acting as the primary point of contact for enquiries, orders, and ongoing support. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Preparing quotes
- Processing orders
- Ensuring products are delivered on time and to agreed specifications
The Field Sales Representative will work closely with the team in operations and customer service to handle customer requests, manage orders, and resolve any issues promptly.
The role also involves:
- Identifying new business opportunities within the territory
- Supporting tender submissions
- Maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and sales performance
Qualifications
- Demonstrated customer-facing sales experience, ideally within manufacturing, waste management, or related industries.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer queries, negotiate terms, and present solutions clearly.
- Solid organisational and time-management skills, including experience managing multiple accounts, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate records.
- Comfort with hybrid working, including effective use of digital tools (CRM systems, email, spreadsheets, video meetings) to manage accounts from both office and home locations.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand customer needs, identify improvement opportunities, and support continuous enhancement of service quality.
- Commitment to high standards of professionalism, including reliability, attention to detail, and a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
