Burton upon Trent (DE14)
Full-Time | Primarily On-Site with Travel Across Your Territory
OTE £45,000+ | Up to £38,000 Basic DOE | Uncapped Commission | Company Vehicle
Are you a driven salesperson who loves the challenge of winning new business, opening doors with new customers and turning opportunities into sales?
We're recruiting on behalf of a growing, well-established business with an excellent reputation across the UK. As the business continues to expand, they're looking for an ambitious Field Sales Executive to help drive that growth by identifying new opportunities, developing a strong sales pipeline and winning new customers across their territory.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of their own success. You'll have the freedom to identify target markets, build relationships with decision-makers, generate your own leads and turn prospects into long-term customers, with uncapped commission rewarding your success.
The Opportunity
This is a proactive, field-based sales role with a strong emphasis on new business development.
- You'll be responsible for identifying potential customers across commercial, industrial and property sectors.
- Generating leads through your own research and networking.
- Getting out into the market to develop new relationships and win business.
- You'll have the autonomy to manage your territory, build your own pipeline and develop your approach to sales.
- Alongside winning new customers, you'll have the opportunity to grow existing accounts, identify additional requirements and maximise the value of customer relationships.

What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively identifying and targeting new customers across your territory
- Generating leads through prospecting, networking, referrals and self-marketing
- Building relationships with key decision-makers across commercial, industrial and property sectors
- Arranging and attending face-to-face meetings to understand customer needs and present solutions
- Developing and managing your own sales pipeline, following up leads and converting opportunities into new business
- Negotiating opportunities and securing new contracts
- Growing existing customer accounts and identifying opportunities to upsell additional services
- Building a strong network of contacts to generate repeat business and referrals
- Preparing quotations and following up proposals to maximise conversion rates
- Working with the internal operations team to ensure a smooth handover and excellent customer experience
About You
We're looking for a commercially minded, self-motivated salesperson who enjoys being proactive, creating opportunities and delivering results.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in Field Sales, Business Development or a similar sales-focused role
- A proven ability to generate leads, develop prospects and win new business
- Confidence approaching new customers, building relationships and engaging decision-makers
- Experience selling services rather than physical products (advantageous, but not essential)
- A target-driven mindset, with the motivation to grow your territory and maximise your earnings
- The organisation and commercial awareness needed to manage your own pipeline and opportunities
- The confidence to work independently, plan your own activity and take ownership of results
- A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel across your territory

What's On Offer
- Basic salary of up to £38,000 (there is some flexibility on this), depending on experience
- OTE of £45,000+ with uncapped commission
- Company vehicle provided following a minimum four-week induction period
