Field Sales Representative

Remote – UK-based position

Key Details

  • Contract Type: Full-time & permanent UK contract
  • Location: Remote - Field Sales Representative position, flexible within the UK
  • Compensation: Guideline up to £50,000 basic + bonus + tools

About the Company

The role is with a small company, but one that is very rapidly growing within the domestic UK technology, electronics and IT space. They operate mainly within the B2B business model, catering for some great end-users already, but their true core business is focused around developing their IT channel business with resellers and distributors. Their portfolio is deliberately broad and spans across hardware (HW), software (SW), and other associated services, solutions and accessories within the IT/technology/electronics spaces. Their strategy is built around not only targeting the most well-known prospects and biggest tenders (and spending ages racing to the bottom for them), but mainly giving high-potential SMBs (including also their more modest orders) the time and support they deserve, becoming their go-to and turning them into very loyal and highly profitable partnerships. Even though they are growing, the firm is still small, maintaining a very hands-on culture across all levels and all people of the business. The firm is known to give their people a voice and offer a lot of autonomy; this fully flexible, remote UK-wide role is a good example of it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the Role

As a Field Sales Representative, you will manage and develop client relationships across the UK, especially in the B2B channel business model, focusing on resellers and distributors. This role will involve both “farming” and strengthening existing partnerships, as well as “hunting” and mapping out new suitable prospects in the wider UK market. As this is a small company (where roles are not as siloed yet), your role will be a mix of hands-on selling and creation of business strategies. The commercial duties can range from simple “box-moving” (of “simple” hardware and products) to strategic solution selling (with more complex solutions and services). The business duties can range from hands-on rapport building with a specific account or problem-solving for a specific account to giving input on wider strategic UK-wide business development agendas and directions. This role is a field sales role with travel to clients across the UK. As the portfolio is wide, it is worth noting that an IT “generalist” might be happier in this role compared to an IT “specialist” that has depth over width in terms of products, solutions and services in one area of IT.
